What does Agerli do for a property owner?

Our job is to take the work of letting your unit off your hands: the listing, answering tenants, screening them, the viewings, and getting to a signed lease. You still decide the price and the tenant.

    Your unit is put in front of tenants who are actively searching in your compound or your area, and we handle their questions and requests on your behalf.

  • We screen every applicant

    Before we propose a tenant we ask about employer, reason for moving, household size and the lease term they need, and we pass that on to you before any viewing.

  • We run the viewings

    We schedule viewing slots and meet tenants at the unit, so you do not have to be there every time. Viewing times are always set with your agreement.

  • We stay with you to the contract

    We help you negotiate the rent, the lease term and the payment schedule, and follow the lease signing through between you and the tenant.

How do we rent out your property, step by step?

These steps are the same for every owner, and each one happens only after you have agreed the one before it.

  1. Send us the unit details

    Fill in the form below with the compound, unit type, number of bedrooms and whether it is furnished. Asking rent is optional if you have not set one yet.

  2. We talk and agree the terms

    We contact you and agree the asking rent, the commission and the listing terms before your unit is shown to any tenant.

  3. We list the unit

    We prepare the unit details and put them in front of tenants searching in your compound or your area.

  4. Viewings and a matched tenant

    We schedule the viewings and propose tenants we have screened. The final decision is always yours.

  5. Signing the lease

    We follow the final agreement and the lease signing through between you and your tenant.

Questions owners ask

How long does it take to find a tenant for my unit?

There is no fixed period we can guarantee. It depends on the compound, the asking rent, the condition of the unit and the season. What we do commit to is telling you how many enquiries and viewings your unit is getting, so you can revisit the price if you want to.

Who screens the tenant?

We screen every applicant before proposing them: employer, reason for moving, household size and the lease term they need. We send you that information before the viewing, and approving the tenant is your decision.

What is the commission?

Commission is agreed with you in writing before your unit is listed, and we do not show it to any tenant before you have accepted the terms. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send you the current terms.

Who handles the lease contract?

The lease is signed between you and the tenant as the two parties. Our role is to follow the agreement through and help coordinate the signing. Agerli is an independent rental broker, not a party to the contract and not the owner of any unit.

Do I have to list exclusively with you?

Any exclusivity requirement is settled in the agreement we make with you before listing. If you do not want an exclusive arrangement, tell us up front and we will agree an arrangement that suits you.

Which compounds do you cover?

Our work is concentrated in the New Cairo and Fifth Settlement compounds listed on this page. If your unit is in another compound in the same area, send us the details and we will tell you whether we can list it.
